Today, I'm talking about the very popular brand, Four Hands, and where to shop.

Background

The reason I wanted to start by highlighting to-the-trade brand, Four Hands, is because so often I’m looking at my favorite designers’ works and I see a piece I like.  Then, after a bit of research, I discover the piece is from Four Hands!  This doesn’t happen for me with any other brand like it does with furniture designer and wholesaler, Four Hands, and it isn’t with just one type of product.  It’s their entire line of products that catches my attention.

About the Brand

At the time of writing, the brand has 18,000 offerings, from furniture, to pillows and blankets, to rugs, and more.  Their pieces vary in style, but might sometimes be considered bohemian, farmhouse, mid-century modern, and/or transitional.  Simply put, the Four Hands aesthetic is a mix of styles, which is a likely reason its so popular. It has mass appeal.

Four Hands is based in Austin, Texas and has been around since 1996. They design their pieces in-house, and in 2024, they launched a collaboration with interior designer, Amber Lewis. (Amber Lewis of Amber Interiors has been one of my favorite designers for years now.  I know I’m not alone!)

Below are a few pieces from the Amber Lewis x Four Hands Collection.

Four Hands is in the mid-point range of affordability.  I anticipate it’ll be one that I purchase key pieces from when I remodel my own home.

If you’re interested in learning more about the brand, Forbes published an interview with Four Hands Leadership a few years, called “Four Hands: The Biggest Furniture Brand You’ve Never Heard Of But Probably Seen.”

How to Buy

If you’re NOT in the trade, you can purchase from their Austin Flagship store or the Austin Outlet store, or you can try to find a retailer that sells near you.  You can also try to find online retailers. I’ve made Four Hands available with a discount code in THE SHOP at APH. As a content creator, of course it helps me if you shop through the APH site. But as a shopper, I like to get the best price possible, and I encourage you to do the same! For example, at the time of writing, Perigold has a Memorial Day sale with Four Hands pieces included. It might take more time to shop around since not all retailers offer the same Four Hands pieces, but if you like the feel of getting a deal, it's worth it!

If you ARE in the trade, Four Hands has market locations at the Las Vegas Market, as well as one at High Point Market.

What do you think?

I just love the Four Hands aesthetic.  But what do YOU think?  Do you have any Four Hands pieces?
